Sometimes in life you cross paths with someone, and you know deep in your bones that it was meant to happen. Little connections discovered, while learning about one another. For me, that is how I feel about Yara. The first time we connected it was through email, she had reached out to inquire about availability. As it happened, she & Nick were planning on getting married on my very own anniversary in Wolfville, also where Richie & I got married. It didn’t take me long to know that this wedding was going to be special, and one I needed to be a part of.
“We met on our first day of first year as we were next door neighbours. Long story short - fell in love and have been together for almost 9 years. We are hoping our wedding will be a beautiful ten year bookend to highlight how we began, and celebrate how far we've come.”
The Big Day
The first time I actually got to meet Yara & Nick in person was on their wedding day, and any expectations that I had were quickly blown out of the water. They are two of the most genuine, kind & humble people I have ever met; After having spent the day so closely with their loved ones, it’s quite obvious that the apples didn’t fall far from their respective trees.
Yara & Nick were married in the most beautiful botanical gardens, surrounded by family and friends. Their ceremony was so full of love & emotion, and every word spoken was incredibly meaningful. Thank you both for trusting Zahra & I to capture your love, we feel so incredibly blessed to have been included!
