Michelle & Kyle first reached out to us last August
The first time I heard from Michelle she had asked if we were interested in travelling to PEI to capture their wedding, when I asked what their date was the reply was August 5th, 2017. To those who know me well, they will know that August 5th happens to be my anniversary to Richard. A while back we had decided that we would only accept weddings on this date if they were out of town and could become an adventure. It didn't take long for us to realize that their wedding was right up our ally, so the answer was a resounding YES!
I had mentioned before that we were looking for adventure, and our trip to PEI definitely started off with a bang. As we were on the road, our Jeep stuffed with 3 children & enough camping gear to last us 10 days, our muffler almost fell off. Needless to say Richard was my hero, and after what felt like forever in the Canadian Tire parking lot in Antigonish, we were finally able to continue our journey. Ultimately we reached our destination, a tiny camp ground in the middle of nowhere, at 1 in the morning.
It's A Beautiful Day For A Wedding
The morning of the 5th I woke up on our slightly deflated airmatress & looked out our little window, it was beautiful. I knew in that moment it was going to be an amazing day, and boy was it ever! Michelle & Kyle were married in an apple orchard on the side of the ocean, and there was more love present in that moment than my heart could handle. The way that these two look at eachother, with such love and respect, it's obvious that this is it. These two were meant to be togethe
You two are such genuione souls, thank you so much for letting myself & the crazy talented Stephanie Lane be a part of the magic. Now on to the photos, I hope you love them as much as we loved taking them!

Bring On The Red Sand Beaches
A few days after the wedding we met up with Michelle & Kyle to shoot their trash the dress session. They brought us to a secret beach that was not only gorgeous, but had some serious meaning to them. It was at this beach that Kyle first told Michelle he loved her, and eventually it was on that beach that he propsed. Thank you both for scaling a cliff & wading in the water, so I was able to get the images I had in my head; It was definitely worth falling in the ocean fully clothed & losing my sandles to capture your love on the beach <3
